4. They publicly praise
5. And they privately complain
6. They speak when others won’t
7. They like to prove others wrong
8. They’re always fiddling

The Only Three Job Interview Questions That Matter

Time Posted: March 6, 2012

From Forbes

1. Can you do the job?
2. Will you love the job?
3. Can we tolerate working with you?

And they’re right. Nothing else matters. All the rest of fluff – all the “tell me a time when…” questions and “have you ever done this…” questions are just nice ways of figuring out if you can do the job.

We all spend tons of time on our jobs, your boss and colleagues want to do if you can actually walk the walk and that you are a good person.

Loving the job is an interesting one though – I think you are that much better at a position if you love it however it’s not to say you wouldn’t be a great employee or colleague. I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comment field below. Do you need to love the job to be great at it?

What are your opinions on your bosses and colleagues? Do they have passion? Can you not tolerate them? Post a review on Litm.us and share your thoughts.

Is your boss a remarkable boss?

Inc. nailed it in The 5 Qualities of Remarkable Bosses

Does your boss qualify for this prestigious honor?
1. Develop every employee
2. Deal with problems immediately
3. Rescue your worst employee
4. Service others, not yourself
5. Always remember where you came from

If this is your boss – post a review about them on Litm.us. If they aren’t – even more reason to share that with the world. We want all bosses to be remarkable, especially yours. Providing transparency into their actions, or inactions, will expose weaknesses and demonstrate areas for them to improve.
